Cuba Project

Cuba maybe considered as a poor country but it makes up for in resilience, no matter the challenge Cuba will get back up.
originally Cuba had sugarcane farms, and the members of the soviet union would pay eleven times the price for sugar, and support them with food, money, gasoline and medicine for free, but in 1989 the soviet union had fallen and could no more support Cuba.
Have you ever tried Cuban food?

  1. Hi Liam, I've enjoyed reading through your Cuban slide, especially because you have chosen to work collaboratively. I wonder, how are you and Joshua finding working together? Are you facing any challenges?

I haven't tried Cuban food before, I don't think. It looks so much more appealing to me than the food in Germany though! What foods would you prefer to try first, Cuban or German?

I wonder, why do you think the Soviet Union would pay 11 times the price for Cuba's sugarcane? What happened to Cuba when the Soviet Union could longer offer the support Cuba needed? How do you think Isabel feels, living in Cuba in 1994 after the falling of the Soviet Union?
