what home means to me

Hi, i'm Liam, and to me home is a place where you feel safe and loved by family members and friends. Our family weekly activities include running the dogs along the beach, watching movies my favourite, sleeping. there are four members amongst our family, my mum, my step-dad, my sister and I. my favourite part of living with my family is mainly the food seeing as my mothers a chef.

In conclusion i would like to state that many people have different ethnicities  and can come from many separate homes.

Yellow: (Rongo-Ma-Tane) is the god of peace and happiness


Orange: (Maui) is a demi-god (not to be mistaken for a real god)of the wind and sea


Purple: (Ruaumoko) is the the god of lava and volcanoes


Red: (Tumatauenga) is the god of man and war


Light Blue: (Tawhirimatea) is the god of the wind and weather


Dark Blue: (Tangaroa) is the god of the water and the ocean

What does Respect look like?


In my perspective Respect is one of many acts of kindness in this world.

Websters dictionary defines Respect as a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements.
I believe many teachers throughout the globe don't get as much  respect or kindness as they deserve.
teaching can be a difficult job if not done properly and that can take strength and perseverance.

Respect can also mean giving your attention to the speaker, sitting up strait and keeping on task.

The creation story

on Monday 24th of feb huia had to recreate the creation story based on Maori beliefs. Lopala, Devlin and I have created this storyboard and told the story in our own words. making this story has helped
me with my Maori knowledge

Eeling

My favourite  thing to do at home is to eel.
 I usually will eel alone for at least one or two hours at a time in the afternoon.
Its really convenient since we live right next to the Awanui river

team building part 3

WALT work together as a team
on Wednesday the 5th of of February Huia did there third team building activity. we had to stand in a circle and pass the water balloon around, but every time someone catches it we all have to take a step back until the balloon breaks
